Hey guys! Welcome back to yet another blog post! I hope you're having a wonderful day so far and are killin' it like always!

For today's blog I thought of writing my Keto friendly Hara Bhara Kebab recipe! With the IPL and Commonwealth Games going on and the constant craving for some good old snacks or appetisers to munch on while matching a match, I thought this dish will be a great way to have some incredibly delicious kebabs AND stick to Keto! An absolute win-win! :D

So to marinate the Kebabs, you're going to need:

  • 300-400 grams of Chicken

  • 2 Tbsps of Curd

  • One small-medium sized Lemon

  • 1/2 tsp of Red Chili Powder, Garam Masala Powder

  • 1 Tbsp of Ginger Garlic Paste

  • Salt to season

  • 2 Tbsps of Dhania-Pudina (Coriander and Mint leaves) Paste. To make the paste, take about 50 grams of Coriander leaves, 50 grams of Mint leaves, half a Lemon, 1 green Chili and a Clove of Garlic and blitz them together! It's literally that simple! You can alternately use a store brought Paste, but make sure to check the Carbs ratio for the same!

Marinate the Chicken with all the ingredients for atleast 8 hours or overnight. The longer the better! You can marinate a good portion of your Chicken and make it every night or every other night so that you don't have to keep repeating the process of making the Paste and marinating it all over again! Meal-prep is everything guys!

To make the Kebabs:

  • Heat 1-2 Tbsps of Ghee or Olive Oil or Butter in a non-stick Pan. Nothing works better than a Grill pan though, so if you have one, do use it!

  • Add in your Chicken and let it cook for 20 minutes.

And there you have it! Your Keto friendly Chicken Kebabs are now ready! Squeeze some Lemon on top and you're good to go! Add some butter on top if you want to! A perfect appetiser for a game night, a movie night or just a random weekday! Marinate a batch of Chicken and it's going to last you for at least a week! :D

Apologies for the crude photography, but I can never take good pictures of Kebabs unfortunately! But the taste more than makes up for it!

So that's it for today's blog guys! I hope you enjoyed today's post and as always let me know if you did! I will see you soon in my next post! Keep Shining! :D

I would suggest putting those marinated chicken in the oven so that the layering remains intact.
