Hey guys! Welcome back to yet another blog post! I hope you're having a wonderful week so far! If not, well, like I always say....it's almost the weekend! :D
So in the last post, I wrote about how to whip up some quick and healthy Hummus at home! If you haven't checked that out, you might wanna do that first before reading this! (Click here)
One of the ways to completely satisfy your cravings and hunger is to ensure that you have incorporated enough fats in your meals. And while that may seem easy and quite obvious, especially if you're on a Keto diet, it does happen very often that you're not getting enough healthy fats in your diet which keep you fuller for longer and also satisfy your cravings.
I have myself been a victim of this situation quite a few times and that's why I think that's it very important to know your body and to know how much fats do you really need in a day. You can incorporate fats in to your diets in a variety of ways. The most common ways are to have more of Almonds, to do most of your cooking in Ghee, Butter or Olive Oil, to ensure that you are eating dishes made with Cream and Cheese, to have Bullet Proof Coffee (Click here to know more about BPC) etc.
But sometimes, you do fall short. And what that leads to is more hunger, more cravings to eat junk food, acid re flux and so on. And that is why, it is very important to be a little mindful about whether or not you're having enough fats in your meals, and to incorporate them in your diet regularly!
For example, this is how I try to ensure that I am eating a well balanced meal that has got enough of good and healthy fats and proteins in it:
Grill some Chicken in a pan. Add in some Salt, Pepper, the juice of one Lemon and some Chili flakes on top. Grill it till it's nicely cooked.
Tear up some fresh and crispy Iceberg lettuce leaves
Put two-three dollops of Hummus at the center of the leaves and add the Chicken on top.

And voila! There you have it! Such a simple recipe, but one that's going to keep you full for at least 4-5 hours! Or longer, depending on the amount of Hummus you use! You don't need to eat gigantic portions of meals to remain fuller for longer and to satisfy your cravings! The right amount of healthy fats added in your diet will do that and more for you! :D
So that's it for today's post guys! I hope you find tips like these useful! I am going to do a more dedicated blog post in the future about how incorporating more healthy fats in to my diet has improved my health and made me fitter. Please do give the post a huge thumbs up if you did enjoy it and do Subscribe if you haven't already! I will see you soon in my next post! Keep Shining! :D
Thank you so much Pulkit! :D
For the love of fats 😍 I had always been wondering what to do when it comes to satisfying the frequent cravings and was tired of cheating my way. Will try to incorporate these in my routine now - thanks a lot!
